The Profile Summary summarizes current
information in the network for a particular customer, by
the status indicates. Selecting a link would display
profiles that matched its criteria. (This is not active
for this demonstration.) Both the employment
screening company and the customer can enter information
on new applicants from this screen.

1.
|
Draft: A draft is an applicant
profile that is being put together, but has not
yet been transmitted for processing the employment
screening company. While in this status, a
profile may be modified or deleted.
|
|
2.
|
In-Progress: A profile moves from the
draft to the in-progress status once it has been
transmitted to the employment screening company.
Before a draft profile can be transmitted for
processing, at least one service must have an
order that is “green lighted” for processing.
While in-progress additional services and orders
can be added. This feature is most useful to
order additional locations for a criminal records
search, when a social security trace results are
returned. If the social security trace were
the only service ordered and the employment
screening company wanted to hold the profile
in-progress to place additional orders, a feature
call Service Alert would be used.

|
3.
|
Completed: When all in-progress orders
are completed, the profile is completed and no
additional orders may be added.
|
|
4.
|
Archived: All profiles are archived 14
calendar days from the date of reaching the
completed status. Profiles can be viewed
from the archive for 60 days from their completion
date and then are no longer available for
transmission over the Internet. This
failsafe is in place to insure compliance with
requirements of the credit suppliers and the FCRA.
Business Owners can retrieve profiles that have
been removed from the Internet only, by contacting
ClearStar Network Operations.
